Aims and Objectives

Our Aims and Objectives are as follows:

  • To create and maintain standards of best practice for training and professional conduct for all members working with sound as a therapeutic modality
  • To raise awareness and actively promote the benefits of sound therapy amongst the public and other health professionals
  • To work within the parameters of professional or voluntary organizations that the Association decides to join that represents the interests of professionals working within the field of complementary therapies
  • To undertake or be willing to contribute to research and development projects using sound as a therapeutic modality
  • To contribute to the continuing growth and development of all holistic and complementary therapy

The Sound Therapy Association was incorporated as a non-profit organisation on 28th February 2011.
